The fediverse is another way to connect.
People on compatible services can discover your identity, follow your site, and respond to your posts. Bonumark has been tested with Mastodon, GoToSocial, and Misskey.
You can follow people and reply, Like, or boost from Bonumark. Their posts appear in your private Following timeline, separate from your public Stream. Incoming replies are moderated; following someone does not republish their posts on your site.
Bonumark remains a single-owner publishing system, not a general social network or a Mastodon replacement. ActivityPub is off by default. Your posts save locally before federation delivery, so a remote server being unavailable does not stop you publishing.
Run Bonumark on compatible shared hosting or a VPS. Federation also needs HTTPS, domain-root discovery, outbound connections, and dependable scheduled delivery. Review the federation requirements
